I recently joined a dog forum that is a very small community with the same beliefs and values we all share here for our guinea pigs. Anyways I wanted to share something that happens over there that I thought would also benefit our forum greatly. Basically right now I am still a newbie over there. While you are new until however many posts (I am not sure) you are not allowed to view anyone's profile. Everyone that is "a regular" over there can all view mine, but I can't theirs. I think that is a wonderful idea, not only does it protect the younger people from weirdos who maybe lurking, it also keeps everyone's information private until the person newly signed up proves themselves to be "safe". People maybe would be more willing to open up a bit more about themsleves and their locations and all of that knowing just not everyone can read it. I am not sure if I posted this in the right place. I basically picked here so it could "better our community " Just wanted to share!!! |

I've reached alittle over 50 posts on there and still can't view anyone's profile. I think it's a good idea. It's a pretty cool place (next to CC, of course). I just can't wait to be a "full fledge" member with an actual dog. |

WEAVER, I've hit over 60 posts and now I can see their profiles. Cool. Plus I'm not a puppy anymore, I'm a "howls at the moon." |
