Demoted Members

Every once in a while, we get a member who joins the forum and for whatever reason, they decide to give bad or dangerous advice, get a snarky attidude or very lippy with other members or admin/mods or just cause a major ruckus on the forum. If they continue with the same behaviors after they are demoted or get worse, then they get banned either temporarily or permanently.

There are two types of Demotions: Cavy Person and Cavy Caged. See this thread and this one for more information.

Cavy Persons and Cavy Caged members may no longer post in the Kitchen or Vegetarian forums. Cavy Caged members are also moderated, meaning that we admin/mods must go read all their posts and either approve or deny them (creating more work for us). If a member ends up in this usergroup they must prove over time to us admin/mods that they can turn themselves around by stopping their useless posts. They may eventually be promoted back to Cavy Cager or Cavy Slave.

This thread is for the admin/mods to list those members who have been demoted with a brief explanation as to why.

Our first Cavy Caged demotee is Dr. Doughnut for posting a bunch of useless junk.

Our second lucky member to be Cavy Caged is Ty'sPiggs for starting 2 new user names called ChooChoo&Beans and Fanny&Glue.

While using the Fanny&Glue name Ty made this post http://www.cavycages.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18401

As you can see the joke was not taken well and future jokes of similar nature made by ANY member will be dealt with accordingly.

Along with a demotion to Cavy Caged Ty is also the winner of a 2 week ban from this site.

Be warned members. We do not joke about the rules on this site.

There have been several recent cagings that we mods have not mentioned here. They are listed as follows:
aaronsimo23- can't follow posting rules.
cavymum- can't follow directives
lilpiggy12
loving mother
piggie4eva- made this id an hour or so after creating the id of aaronsimo23, can't follow directives.
Spike- can't follow rules or directives
stretch- can't follow rules or directives

Wheyza has been demoted to Cavy Caged and faces a demotion.

She started a second user name, Cavygma, which has now been merged into her Wheyza name. She failed to reply to the requests of the mods to explain her reason for creating a second account. She is being given a few days to provide an explaination. If she fails to do so she will be banned.

chesneycwgrl has been caged for trying to rehome/adopt/dump purposely bred guinea pigs on he forum, for making threats against her animals through the PM system (threatening to dump them at a pet shop) and for making politically incorrect slurs through the PM system.

If anyone else receives or received any PMs or emails from this member that are rude or threatening please contact me though the PM system and let me know.

chesneycwgrl - You can no longer send or receive PMs. I'm not bothered by your threats and curses and harassment but I will not allow you to also start harassing other members of the site as well.

I am seriously considering publicly posting excerpts from your PMs so people can see what kind of a person you, and your significant other, are.
