Ooh, I will be the first to suck up.

T-I have seen you dance (videos) and you are great! I love West Coast Swing, but have no idea how to do it. You have made a huge difference in the life of cavies, and animals for that matter. You are very creative. If you never made this website, Mu would probably be a lone pig in a small petstore cage. Yes, I would want another pig, but reading in horrible books I would think I wouldn't be able to get another because he is a boar. I would possibly hate the petstore cage he was in and wouldn't be able to find a solution to get a bigger one. He would be fed multiple carrots a day, and handfull of veggies and as much pellets as he can eat.

salana-I haven't seen to much of you around the forum. Thank you for posting the older photos. They have helped me alot. Thanks you for contributing to GL and their medical forum.

Ly-You are an amazing person. Besides your health problems, you still help animals. You rescue, foster and rehome pigs. Thank you for serving in the Army and Navy. I love the veggie list you sent me, it is fabulous. My boys get a wider variaty now. The cavy caves are great!

VJ-You are amazing as well. You rehabbed animals when you were a kid. I can't imagine how crazy it is down there for you after Katrina. Yet you help other people and animals. Plus you wanted to go up to New Jersey (I think) and help people with flooding there. That is amazing, 4 people and 16 animals in a mini van! I can't imagine since you have a variaty of animals. Including that you probably wanted to take with you things from your home. You are very talented, the crochet cavies are amazing.

Susan-You have been a joy to talk to. You have made a big difference in the animal world by your motives in animal rights. I would hate if my mother told me I couldn't have a pet becuase they were for eating. I like scrapbooking also.

PM-I loved your story about Jasper, and how you came about him. You need to add your two new girl pigs to your list of animals. Yikes, a dvd player two inches away from your ear! I like this statment you made: Most of the time, I think the animals are the sanest among us. So true.

I don't really know you all that personally , but I have read many stories about you guy's , and all I can say is that you all are wonderfully people and have made my pigs the happiest they have ever been . The things you have endured and have to deal with everday make you very strong , indepent women who should be very proud of what you are doing . You know you have the up most respect of many people here and I thank you for all the endless hours and time you put into ensuring the safety and well being of all of our babies . Well It's 3:30 am here , time for me to go to bed and have sweet piggy popcorning dreams ! Good night .

I think all the mods are amazing people. Everyone has a different story but everyone is here for the sake of the animals. My pigs thank the gods everyday that I found this place and they get great care because of all of you.

You guys are all amazing people, I don't know where to start.

T- You are obviously an amazing person. You run a successful rescue AND a dance studio? How cool is that? I'll tell you, it super cool. You videos are great, you're very talented.

salana- I read Einstein's story on GL a couple months ago. It was simply amazing. I cried and I laughed. You are such a special person for taking care of such a special guy. I have also read many of the medical threads you've given advice on. You are such a knowledgeable person. It makes me laugh that your a linguistics student! I took a linguistics class for my English major and really enjoyed it. All the profs in our linguistics department are really quirky.

Ly- I respect you a lot. You have done things for this society that normal people don't have the guts to do. You were in the service. I respect anyone who has been/is. You work with the Veterans post which I think is super cool. You rescue animals. And you're a mom. And you do this along with being disabled. Truly amazing.

VJ- I don't think I have to tell you what an awesome person you are. But I'll tell you anyway. You're an awesome person. You have a great personality and a good set of beliefs. My husband doesn't believe you that you ran away with the Ren faire circuit. I told him someone has to be the people who work there! He just said "People don't DO that!" Well I believe you.

Susan- You rock my socks. Your posts in the Kitchen and the Veg forums helped inspire me to become a vegetarian. Your a wonderful young woman with a good head on your shoulders. I'm doing research on animal cruelty in hopes that one day I will be as well versed in the topic as you. On top of your passion for animal welfare you have one of the most challenging jobs in my opinion. Working with children in that sort of atmosphere is something not many people have the heart and spirit to do. Kudos.

PM- You are the perfect example of what this site can do. You bought a pet store pig and soon you found this site, soaked up the information and became a mod. It's simply amazing. Your a fun person to talk to. And I love seeing you threaten people with your rubber trout.

All in all you guys are awesome. Thank you so much for everything you have done for this forum and the animal community!

I actually laughed out loud a few times. VJ I can't believe you went around with a traveling show but that sounds like so much fun-I am beyond jealous. I'm sure you have enough stories to write a book.
I read your Susan and was reading the very things that I say all the time. I love the fact that you buried your shoes. I'm glad to know that I was not the only passionate child.
I think you all are wonderful and I'm not what I would do if I didn't have you all to talk to or run to for help. Thank you from me and the pigs!

I'll see if I can find some pictures and scan then to post. It won't prove anything but it's a start.

I've been on several morning shows with the dance troop when the faire was in town. But I can't really remember the dates so it would be hard to get a copy of the video.

I still have most of my olds gypsy gear, peasant dress and barbarian gear (great for Mardi Gras).

And you can tell your husband that obviously people do do that. Someone has to, otherwise the ren faires wouldn't exist.

I have been doing nothing but reading, reading, and more reading since catching T's post about the Community. I just finished up about our Mods.

At this moment I am dumbfounded. I am sitting here paralyzed searching for words.

In a nutshell I am so darn proud to be a card carrying member (where did I put my card?) of this group. I am honored to say that I 'know' you.

Geesh did I suck up enough?
