OK, I'm not good at those really long posts so I'll keep it short and sweet.

*Clears throat*

All of you have made such a difference in the lives of all guinea pigs on this forum. You have shown the best possible care of your pigs, and have helped change the lives for the better of all the pigs on here. You all keep this a fun (and very addicting) place for people with the same love for guinea pigs to all talk about how they take over our lives. SO.... in conclusion.... I think I can speak for everyone when I say we're all very happy to have met you all and are very grateful for all of your hard work and help.

Thanks for everything you do!

Ok as you all know I've been dealing with a bunch of crap lately but I just wanted to say thank you. Without this forum and the great members here, I'd probably feel lost. I was talking to my mom earlier and she said she came on here and noticed how wonderful and supportive everyone's been. I'm so glad to have such a great place to get information and to share what I've learned. Thank you!

PS When I get to feeling more like myself, I'll do some more sucking up. I'm just recouperating from the flu now.

Hmm...I can some very tough competition here. Obviously Jenn is the top sucker-upper so I can't beat her, I'll admit that. Let's see.

Without you guys (this applies to all but especially the mods):

The pigs would be eating virtually no hay at all;
The pigs would not have experienced the benefits of plain pellets and would certainly not have found their favourite pellet, Oxbow CC;
The pigs would definitely not have the huge variety of veggies they now have;
The pigs would be living in a "hutch" the equivalent of a 2x1;
I wouldn't even have Lottie & Jasmine because I would never have known about rescues;
I would be insane!

Now some sucking up to each mod:

Ly, I am in admiration of you. Doing all that service and helping others, going through so much with disability and all the recent stuff on top of that - that takes an amazing person to be able to come through that and still have the strength to whip out that "mod stick of pain" to whack us all into shape.

VJ, I followed the story you wrote about going back to "N'Awlins" after Katrina and you are one strong, determined woman. To come through all that and look after all those animals and stuff takes some strength. I love the way you managed to ignite some spirit despite the trauma the whole experience caused.

Susan, is offering you those twins again enough sucking up for you?? I love the way you are so strong-willed and determined to help out and speak up for those who can't speak for themselves. It takes someone special to be able to do that kinda thing.

PM, you're simply fab. Your character and the way you come across on the forum is wonderful. You do your job well and it's always a pleasure reading your posts.

salana, I haven't seen much of you but what I have seen, you are great. You do your job and you do it well! Everything you went through with Einstein and the others has made you a very knowledgable and very respected member by all, including me.

And T. What can I say about T. She is amazing, an inspiration, and on top of that a fantastic dancer too!

Notice how I used the word "strength" so many times during that! Strong mods make for a strong forum.

Without this forum the way it is - thanks to T, Ly, VJ, Susan, salana and PM - thousands and thousands of pigs would be living a basic, poor, old-fashioned way of life. Thank you for saving all these pigs, and a personal thank you from me for changing my pigs lives so much.

There, how did I do?? Not half as good as most I know.

I am not very good with sucking up or with the way I word things. So here goes.

To Cavy Spirit for this great web site and the work you do - I think you are amazing. I tell every one that this is where I get all my information and advice from.
To all the mods. You all do a great job on here. With all your own problems in life you still have time and deadication (sp) to come on here and help others.

So Ly my grand pooba Mod...help me here. How do we know how many posts I have made to satisfy BG? I know today I have met the quota but does she mean posting on this thread?

Judy you should know by now I will never be satisfied.

Are you saving them all up for one post Judy? I gave you the present because you are one of my tattlers. You always make my day too when you call me things like your "Grand Pooba Mod". Makes me feel like someone lurves me.

Yes, I've been saving all my smilies up so I can drive you all crazy with them like some do me. I figure I still have a quota of about 800+ smilies to use.
