    Noah can fly

I've seen Noah popcorn before but not like how he does now he has a cage mate. It's terrifying. It used to be just a little jump and a kick, now his legs goes out straight, his whole body kinda spazzes and his head twitches loads. And he gets so much height. I know he's doing it cos he's happy but it looks ridiculous...why can't they just do actual happy things when they're happy, rather than make us think they need an emergency vets trip? The amount of height he's getting is stupid too. He's actually taking off....weird piggy.

Am I the only person that gets worried for their pigs safety when they do this? God help me when Elmo's big enough to start it too. They'll be whizzing round my room soon.

I know that in the wild, guinea pigs could jump very high, but in the meantime, just make sure you have a cover on the cage.
He is thanking you for his cage mate!

He deffo can't make it out the cage, it's very tall. But his height has increased and I'm glad I was so worried about it!

Sometimes when I sweep out the poop, my texels popcorn like crazy. They go really high up. It makes me wonder if they're annoyed with the sweeping and trying to show some assertiveness. They do the head wiggle and all. I have a male that seems to do it to show off in front of his cagemate.

Is his cage mate a boy too? Noah could be doing that too I guess. Which is a good sign. I think he sees himself as a sort of Dad to Elmo with the way they act, it's nice really

Yes, his cage mate is a boy.... It's funny to watch him do that.

Quinn popcorns pretty high, but the problem in she does in when she's in a pigloo or a box as well as out in the open. D'oh! You'd think she'd learn, but nope.

When I walk in the room Zoey and Bean popcorn and wheek so loud it could make your ears bleed. They jump really high too, it scares me sometimes cause I think when they hit the ground they could hurt their leg or something. :P

My girls like to popcorn as they walk. So Chloe will follow Emma, and popcorn right behind her. It's very cute, as their little heads twitch.

After 5 months they've FINALLY learned that wheeking nonstop when Mommy comes into the room has a 50/50 chance of getting foods. So as SOON as i wake up, they're wheeking their little lungs out. So cute, but a bit irritating at times... Oh, well. It's mostly precious...

Actually if no one prepares you for what to expect when you introduce a new mate or the first time you line the cage with fleece it can seem very bizarre. When i first got Rusty and Munchie they were in a store bought cage with carefresh. The first time the were put in the new c&c cage with fleece i thought Munchie was possibly having a seizure because he was flipping out and twisting his head over and over again. Then the crazy jumping and then he stopped dead in his tracks and started to rumble and wheek and i knew he was just a happy lunatic .

@iamsnape , it's precious to watch. It's super cute when Emma turns around as if to say, "What's wrong with you?! What's there to be so happy about?"

It's funny. You would think that the happy signal would be more graceful. Instead it looks like they're having a seizure in the middle of a hop.
