Need help EMERGENCY! what is this white thing i found it in my guinea pig cage!!!

Hi i'm Lina,
i need help asap, i found this weird white thing its dry and it stinks it was in the igloo that my sow was in and i moved the igloo and found this!!! i have a sow about a yr old and i just got her from a previous owner a day ago.. she was in with two full grown boars anyways i think shes pregnant but i found this and i am worried what it is, i also have a 12 week old male, that i thought was a female anyways please help i will attach pictures.

I have no idea what that is, I have heard of boar glue but I doubt that's it. Hopefully someone can help you soon, I will do some searching for you to see if I can find out what it is.

Still searching but are there other poops in the cage ? Is your guinea pig acting normal, eating, drinking etc ?

Ok this one should work. You kinda have to decipher what you can understand and what you can't since some of it is not in English but basically its states that its a plug so that no other male can mate with the girl.

It does look like the picture, I wonder what the non English says, I guess that would help a bit. But I think you might be right liathandra, that is what it looks like.

It is boar glue. I have three myself and have found it before. If your really worried and don't think thats what it is, go to your vet.

Same here, three boars. Lovely boar glue. They like to stick it to each other in my case, unfortunately.

Do take your piggy to the vet if you have concerns though.

It's either boar glue from the boar or a mucus plug from the sow. Are your pigs housed together?

I've seen this before with a female who was with a male. It's the dried semen that a male left inside her. Since you just got her and she was housed with males, most likely she was bred right before you got her, and the semen plug is just now coming out.

The concern is that this female is a year old--unless she's had litters before, being pregnant puts her at greater risk than normal.
