Can the girls eat Raspberries?

Hello

I have a few questions, can the guinea pigs eat Raspberries? Will it harm them/is it un-healthy? I took them to the vet and the Doctor said they are a bit "chubby" as in I should do thing to make them loose a little bit of weight, what can I exactly do? And what should I feed them everyday beside hay & pellets? Thanks!

They can eat them, but as with most fruits, they are high in sugar and should be a treat rather than a dietary staple.
