She is adorable!
I read your blog post about "Grace The Magical" as well. Made me happy inside!
Haha.
Thanks for sharing!
guinea and the fleece is adorable
I think that she and Picckalo are destined for each other. Except that Picckalo does it with a paper lunch bag. He chews most of one side off, and then gets inside of it. When he wants to move, he just gets up, still in the bag, and walks over. I think Grace, being a dignified Abby, chooses to do it with an elegant cuddle cup instead!
A couple more weeks. We recently upgraded the pens. Jumble is now in her own 2x4. We're looking at adding a second floor to Triton and Oink's 2x4. And we're going to merge Picckalo's 2x3 with Grace's 2x3. Because they both have impaired vision, we aren't going to add a loft or anything. We'll have to see how well they do with such a large space. But Grace seems to have no problem with navigating her pen or the ever-changing floor-time set up, so I don't think a 3x4 will be an issue for her. Picckalo tended to prefer a smaller area, but he's coming out of his shell more an more. They both seem so energetic that we'd love for them to have more room (whereas Oink and Triton are less interested in running around, but really like to explore more hiding areas, so we think a loft would work better for them).
Sounds like your heard is coming together and Grace was just what needed! @Wildcavy , give Grace some extra chin scratches for me please.

I'm watching her right now walking around underneath the Curious George fleece. It's nice and light, so there isn't any worry about her tunneling under it (she doesn't tunnel under the fleece or towels we put on the floor of the pen). She gets up on her hind legs to whistle for food, and frankly starts morning and evening revolutions by the other pigs if I don't hustle for piggy salad. She's quite the catalyst!
