Ooops....she is a he...how likely is it that my gp is pregnant?
I'm new to guinea pig ownership and just learned that while I was told I was purchasing two females, one of guineas is actually male. The two were in the same cage for 10 days before I found this out and removed the male from the cage. They are about 9 weeks old. How likely is it that my female guinea is pregnant? (The male used to sniff the female quite a bit but when I was around I only noticed her running away...no mounting...but still...yikes!)

Pretty likely however at one time I had 3 pigs and didnt find out until one started showing that one was a boy and so far its been 2 1/2 months and the other female isnt showing any signs of pregnancy.

Both piggies are old enough to have a pregnancy. You will have to wait and watch for signs of pregnancy in your female. Pregnancy can be 59-72 days.
