kaytee "Exact"

The only choice in this town for pelleted type of feeds, is the bulk form the pet store sells by the pound, and Kaytee Exact. We've fed Henry the bulk form up till now, but he doesn't seem very full-bodied so I bought some of the kaytee yesterday, however it is more like small dry dog food chunks than pellets.
It says it has stabilized vit C.. they don't have the other kaytee product.
Should I mail order some other brand?

Oxbow Products working well for me

So far, I've had good luck with Oxbow Products.

$8 for 10lb bag of pellet food
$18 for 25lb of Timothy Hay
$12 for 200 count Vit C tablets

These are some of the products that work well for me. Of course, I use hay on top of my bedding as well as in the hay rack. My piggies just love the hay all over for eating, playing and of course it allows the poops to filter down through it.

They do sell in other quantities and products, but these seem to be best for me as far as price vs ability for storage. I do want to try their Orchard Grass as well. It is supposed to be softer for bedding.

Read about Oxbow and their products here:
www.oxbowhay.com

Hope this can help.
