Sorry, but being permanently banned and slammed when no posts were made on that forum is a bit more than a grudge. It's a fact of current life.

There are quite a few people who visit many of the guinea pig boards.

OK, so let me get this straight, you never posted there yet they banned you and talked crap behind your back?

That sums it up. Although I've a ton of prior posts there. Regarding the 'incident' for which I was banned---I never posted on that forum. And I would just as soon drop this topic. I will probably move this to the closed discussions forum if it keeps up. Like I said, water under the bridge. As the webmaster of this site and forum, I don't care to promote a forum on which I was slandered for many weeks by that webmaster and continue to this day to be banned. Even though links to my site remain and all my posts (which I requested to have removed and they weren't) and continued references to my work go on, <strong>I</strong> am not allowed to post.

Okaaay, I got this site off of there and am currently building a C&C cage, look I don't know what happened, but CG really is a great place to learn, if you didn't have a grudge about then why are you getting irritated by this post? I don't see why you would move this to the closed forum, no one is 'fighting', I was just talking about a board you don't like. Don't you think it would be a biy childish to close this thread?

Personally I don`t think a child that young should be using the internet unattended anyway. My son is 5 and I have no problems discusing sex or sexuality with him should he ask (and he has) I tell him what is necessary to answer his question in a simple way. Even kids that young hear stuff at school from mates who heard their parents talking or older kids. I feel it`s important for him to know the truth. I also do not want him running around using "gay" as a cuss as many children here do (even his age!) so we have discussed that too. He knows what gay means and doesn`t see an issue. I have gay friends (and am bi) so it`s an important think for me. I do not want him growing up racist, sexist etc so I correct any problems with these issues too. Eg. He ccame home from my parents talking about "bloody pakis" which I find unexceptable so I told him and explained why. I feel it`s better he learn now and grow up with it (so it`s the norm) than have to try and correct any bad learning later.

I didn`t start the sexual talk of that thread. I also (for one) wasn`t arguing, just ssaying what I though. It`s a thread subject I`ve seen a couple of times now and if people are interested in the topic then I feel it`s relevant, after all we are here to learn as much about pigs as we can.
A warning at least would of been fair.
I had read some of the other posts but hadn`t had anything much I could add which is why I hadn`t postedv anywhere else. It didn`t seem quite right over there anyway..........
I`m no expert but some of the post where inaccurate.

Sorry cavyspirit if you wanted this thread to end, I just wanted to comment on the two post reguarding myself.

I know what you're saying, when I was in kindergarten and the first grade I was learning of these types of things from my friends. Maybe that is your parenting style but it may not be someone elses', I was always tuaght to hate blacks, but I don't. I do however agree in answering childrens questions in an appropriate manner for the child's age and correcting racial slurs and sexist comments, etc. By the way, I'm only 15.

Sorry for what happened to you, Teresa. Who would ban such a nice and caring person? And I agree, this subject should be closed and put away.
