As some of you may know, yesterday the number of pigs in my home doubled. I adopted three abandoned piggies from the Humane Society, we named them Hugo, Boris, and Snidely. I bathed them and cut out their matted fur and gave them a good brushing, their coats were pretty nasty. I'm still working on editing and uploading their adorable bathtime video, but here are some pigtures. Hugo is the ginger, Boris is the tricolor, and Snidely is the mostly black. I think that they're abby longhair mixes, but I don't know my longer haired breeds too well so if somebody could back me up or disprove me on that, I'd be most appreciative. I also have a couple of before photos of them from the shelter, but they're in a petstore cage which is inappropriate so I will not post them here. I apologize for the kind of crummy photo quality, all I have at the moment is a camera phone.    I hope I'm posting this in the right place, I already have a thread in intros so I didn't post it there.       |

Three very loud and messy piggies, you mean. ;P They kept me up last night with all their joy! But yes, they are super sweet. Snidely is very snuggly, he'll crawl under your chin and fall fast asleep. The other two are more hyper when being held. In the cage, it's a different story. |

Which one? It's funny you should say that, because James originally wanted to name one of them Rocky, and another Bullwinkle. I convinced him otherwise though. |

I ended up putting them in a 3x4 in the dining room, the shower curtain we bought was too short for a 2x5. It worked out well though, because the 3x4 fits the fleece perfectly. Cleaning will be a snap! Unfortunately, it kind of takes over the dining room a bit. I'll work out a perfect setting for both sets of pigs after quarantine and after my sister in law comes and goes. |
