Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post?
They fight every time they're together.

I got Bello a friend and every time I have them together Bello tries to hump the new guy and then the new guy bites him and they start fighting. What should I do?

Re: They fight every time they're together.

How are you introducing them? How large is their cage?

Have you read Guinea Pigs Social Life yet?

Re: They fight every time they're together.

Mounting is normal dominance behavior. What do you mean by fighting? Are they just noisy or do they draw blood? If it's just noise, let them be. They are just trying to decide who's boss. It'll be hard to listen to and you'll be tempted to separate them, but leave them alone if there isn't any blood. Not just a nick of blood from a nip to the nose or something but real bloodshed.

How did you introduce them? Was it on neutral ground or did you just put the new guy in the existing pig's cage?

Re: They fight every time they're together.

If you keep taking them apart and putting them together you're making it worse. Please do a search on 'Introductions' as we've gone into this in detail multiple times.
