I have a Piggy Bedspread, and I have been washing it with detergent. However, is it better to wash with just vinegar? Will that kill all the germs and get the pee out (I have to wash it on warm, not hot, because of the attached rubbery layer on the bottom). If I can only use one or the other tonight (I can only go to one of the stores today because of some work issues, and I have to do the laundry today), should I use detergent or vinegar? If I do use vinegar, what's the best kind, and how much should I use? |

Vinegar would be in addition to the detergent. Plain white vinegar and you would need 1/2 to a whole cup per load depending on size. |

Thank you! Do you have any suggestions for detergent? I have been using hypoallergenic detergent (from All if it matters), but I don't know if it even matters what detergent to use. |

Machine wash your Piggy Products in warm or cold water using laundry detergent that doesn't contain fabric softener. I use whatever detergent is on sale Machine dry on LOW to MEDIUM heat This is from the piggybedspreads FAQ section Last edited by Ly&Pigs; 11-07-09 at 05:17 pm. |
