Don't let this fool you.

Sebastian has been the biggest pain this morning. Everyone got veggies and everyone got their toe nails trimmed. Peggysu did great and so did Ann. I was able to do them by myself. Then it was time for Sebastian. I usually hold them with one hand up against my chest and then cut with the other. Apparently this gave Sebastian a great shot to bite my ear. He grabbed it and tugged, luckily not drawing blood. It took another person to hold him so I could cut his nails. He is not friendly at all during this process and repeatedly tried to bite me and my boyfriend. I don't know what happened to him with his previous owners, but I don't think he had a positive experience during the grooming process.

Now he needs a hair cut, and he's just as bad about it. It's dragging on the ground and it's starting to get funky in the back. It's going to be a long day for him and I. There will be some white fur flying.

Oh wow!! He most certainly IS a handful of white fur, huh? Good luck getting the haircut done today, HA! He's still such a pretty boy!

good luck my new pig jake threw a fit today when I tried to cut his nails! he did not bite thankfully.

He's all tuckered out right now from fighting the nail clipping. I'm letting him relax for a little bit and then it's on. He'll probably look like edward scissor hand cut his fur.

OH MY. I have FOUR pigs like THAT!!! Only two of my six "let" me cut their nails without trying to savage me to death LOL and unfortunately the one's nails are THICK and nasty so, as patient as this pig IS, it is HELL to trim them

GOOD LUCK on the hair cut and YES, pics CAN be decieving can't they on sweetness

Oh those silly long haired boars!!! Mine refuses to let me touch his feet without vocalizing about it! So I finally gave in and took them both somewhere to get their nails clipped. LOL

He and Doc are so much alike. I had the same problem with him the other day. He was audibly snapping his teeth at my hand as I clipped while my husband looked on in disbelief since he's such a lovey-dovey any other time. It was so bad that I caught the quick twice

Hopefully he eventually gets used to his grooming regimen. (and Doc, too)

I hope Doc gets better with the clipping, luckily he's a short hair. Doc and Seb are about the same age right?

Anything that has to do with grooming you would think I was killing him and he is doing everything he can to survive.

Poor babes is havin a bad day. Maybe boyfriend could feed some veggies during the hair cut ? Long pieces of cilentro yum,yum. I can't trim nails to save my life. My girls are just impossible so i let my vet take care of it. Snip,snip and all done.

I think so if I remember correctly. They said Doc was 2½ in his ad back in July.

I love long haired piggies but I have to say that I'm glad that I don't have to give haircuts!

Gosh darn but I HATE nail clipping LOL. I had better luck bathing (OK just butt washes really ha ha) them then nails. I might go in to a vet and see if it is just ME that is messing UP ha ha and see what the vet can show me on how to make it LESS traumatic for them. I only hit the quick ONCE but that really scared ME more than the poor pig and it was a teeny snip in the quick with barely a couple drops of blood

I am blood phobic too so nail trims are a nightmare so thanks for ALL the good advice and empathy on this much dreaded chore

We just did all 11 of our piggies nails and hair, boy what a job that was.
I hate to do their nails, I always get at least someones quick. It makes me feel horrible.
Grooming Baby our peruvian is a nightmare. She gets so matted and dirty.
My daughter just gave her a total funky hair cut. Looks really cute, but she hated every minute of it. Now we can see her cute little face.

Hope Sebastian does better with his haircut. He is such a sweetie, I would never of suspected him to throw a fit. Give him lots of lovins and veggies.

After a little sweat and blood he's all trimmed up. He looks much better. No more tripping over his fur. It's like he's attached to hair and doesn't want it cut.

While grooming I noticed he had some nasal discharge. I guess he's not over the URI. I'll be taking him to the vet on thursday.

Haha, that made me crack up! Trump is the same way! He's part long hair, so only his butt and head are long. He loves his hair though! He just hates it when I cut it.

Yes our piggies are definitely funny. All with different personalities you would never expect. I absolutely love all of them and they are my therapy.
