Although the following video is distressing, I make absolutely no apologies for posting it. Behind almost every guinea pig in a pet store is a commercial breeding operation. Your purchasing a guinea pig at a pet store is providing direct financial assistance to these breeding mills. Please watch and review your decision:

ugh I've seen that video before. Its horrible!
I found a few rescues by me so hopefully when Im ready they will have some available!

I bought the 2 birds and Hamster I have now from a pet store same with the 1st guinea pig I had. I got one of my cat from a small pet store called Paws and Claws? Idk they had small amounts of animals so I think they may get there animals from breeders, and my 2nd cat I got from a neighbor.

I really wish I could save those animals And I always feel like im doing that when I buy a pet from a pet store but sadly .. Im helping them! Im now forever getting my next pets from breeders!! I'll also try and spread the word around.

I'm glad you've decided not to support pet stores anymore.

But please check rescues and shelters for all animals. A lot of breeders also don't take good care of their animals and support the pet store industry.

Did you mean to say "from BREEDERS"? or did you maybe mean to say "from rescues or shelters"?
