Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
Hi, A few months ago I adopted a pair of male guinea pigs from the SPCA. They get along well. I have a friend who wants me to take her 2 spayed female guinea pigs. Can the two pairs share a 3x5 cube cage if I do the introductions correctly? I was thinking about splitting the cage in half and letting them live next to each other for a few weeks. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for your help! |

No. Males can't live with other males if females are present in the same cage. You'd need to either keep the two males together and the two females together, or split up each pair to have male/female pairs, but the males would fight if you add females to their cage, regardless of how well introductions might be done. |
