Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 He never did this before! He used to wheek like the other pigs, but one day he just started chittering his teeth like he was angry or threatened. Now he does it whenever he hears the fridge or a bag russling instead of getting excited for food. |

Perhaps he isn't eating well, and other weird behaviors or not drinking or eating? Or maybe one of the other pig usually bulls him and eats his food, try holding him outside of cage while feeding him. |

The other pigs are nice to him. And he seems fine otherwise. He had a digestion problem but the vet gave him some meds and it cleared up, and he's been pooping fine since then. That was a long time before this started... the vet says he's fine now. |

Is he dominant? My Asuka does something similar when I stray from what she determines her "proper" eating time. ...which is all the time, according to her T.T She is very abusive to me T^T And she often tries to dominate me. She takes the term "cavy slave" very seriously. Maybe something like this is going on? Was he new? maybe its just his personality shining thru! |

I am going to have agree that its probably personality but take him out and make a bag rustle see if he still chatters his teeth. |

Chubb's, who passed away one year ago tomorrow, would "stomp" his front right paw and make the look like he was going to "charge" his brother Pigster. It was his way of setting the boundry. He was the only one of the 6 boys that did this and it was just a part of his unique personality. |
