I have a couple of quick questions as I am new to Guinea Pigs. Our little Guinea Pig is about 2 months old and does this thing where she jumps around (it almost looks like she hops) the cage. But usually afterwards she will sit there and her stomach will contract almost as though she is hiccupping. Is she okay or should I take her to our vet. Thank you in advance for any advice.       |

The thing where she's jumping around is popcorning. They kinda look like they are having a spasm or seizure when they popcorn but it's like a happy dance. Cavies do get hiccups. No need for a vet visit for hiccups. |

I love it when my pigs popcorn. It makes me feel like a good owner. The best is when my Hunny popcorns, because of her size. Its too cute! |
