Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 I was wondering if the dremel tool that many people use on their dog's & cat's nails would be ok to use on a cavy's nails. Here is what I am talking about in case you don't know (it's gaining in popularity, especially since the advent of the peticure, which was a flop for the most part L0L ): 761-03 Cordless Pet Nail Grooming Kit / Model: 761-03 |

Personally, I wouldn't but someone posted on here that they put it on the lowest setting and did it slowly not to scare their pig and I think they said it worked great. Good luck! |

I got this for my dog and even on the lowest setting it seemed to fast for a guinea pig because their nails are smaller. We took it back because it scared my dog. |

I am highly advising you not to use the dremel. I am a dog groomer, and we ONLY use it on dogs. Cat's nails are too thin so we do not use the dremel on them, and Guinea Pigs have even thinner nails. |
