I just gave my sheltie his first hair trim. I just took a little off around his bottom, because it keeps getting wet with urine and he drags poos around with him. No offense to him, but he really smells like poo. ![]() He had his first bath about a month ago, so I don't really want to give him another so soon, since I know that guinea pigs generally don't need bathing. But he does smell really bad and I'm wondering if with shelties it is OK to bathe them more often, because their hair gets dirty quickly? Thanks! |

Try a butt bath where you just bathe the dirty part. You can give those as needed. |
