I guess this is in the right place.

On August 4th it will be the one year anniversary that I got Hippie.

I was wanting to do something special and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions? I'm already planning on getting him a small animal play tunnel that I think he will like, a new baby blanket (he loves sleeping on them and doesn't chew them), giving him his favorite foods (Apples and Carrots), and I'm gonna let him run around the house all day.

Any other ideas?

Does he live with a friend? I'm sure he would love that more than anything!

No I only have one. I'm trying to convince my parents to let me have another but right now its a no go. So I'm just giving him some extra lovins and attention right now.

That stinks that your parents won't let you get him a friend. Don't they know that most guinea pigs do better in groups?

Anyways...about the special day...what kind of cage do you have? If it's a C&C maybe you could add another level or expand it some. If not then you could get him a C&C.

I've told them but still a no go (for now).

I have a Midwest Interactive Guinea Habitat with Top Panel. It meets the recommended size for one piggy, I don't have room for another cage right now but I do want to get another Midwest cage to add on to it once I figure out a spot.
