Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
Currently my newest addition is in her quarantine cage all by herself. (Which I feel bad about but we have to do it...) Well, she made a odd noise. I've seriously never read or heard this before. It sounds like a rumble, or motor and a purr rolled into one. Which isn't exactly like the sound but I don't know how to describe it. I've only heard her do it at night. So, could someone fill me in? I've really read all the sounds and trust me, this was different. I also never heard this from my other girls. Since it's dark I think she could be scared because of the sound of typing, but I don't know because she hears it all day. So, I'm sorry if what it is, is obvious, but I'm just not sure. |

It sounds like she's rumblestrutting to me. My pigs do this when we do something they don't like (make a scary noise) or when they're dominance dancing with each other. |

Well, I thought they only did that around other pigs. And right now she's alone because she's in quarantine. |

They do not have to be with other pigs to rumblestrutt or make the noise associated with rumblestrutting. |

Ya I think i have an idea what she is doing, my guy does it when you make a loud pounding noise. If I'm correct its a quick burr. They do this when they don't like something or they are afraid. |
