Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Hi, I was just wondering what time of day you all feed your piggies veggies. I usually choose mornings because Cocoa usually squeeks every time I open the fridge, but one of my pigs Fudge will leave his in the bowl all day until we sit down to our evening meal around 5.30 pm then he will start to munch. Dawn. |

I feed my pigs at 7pm straight after I have had my dinner.. they don't seem to mind me feeding them at this time.. as soon as they hear a footstep coming up the stairs they wheek their heads off! |

I don't have an exact time I feed Oscar. Sometimes in the morning, if I have time(which I usually don't). Sometimes in the afternoon when I get home from school. I always feed Oscar and my rabbit, at night. I don't believe that you should follow exact times every day. |

There's a veggie or piece of fruit at lunch time. And I prepare Phoebe's veggies at the same time I make my own dinner. And I don't think there's anyway I could possibly forget. She'll wheek to remind me, "Hey you! Feed me! Now!!" |

After work when I get home at about 6pm. They start wheeking as soon as they hear me open the door. |

Some feed veggies twice a day and some don't. It doesn't really matter. |

When I get home from work at 4:30, Peanut starts demanding veggies and a re-fill on the pellets. He won't stop wheeking at me until I do. I also give them some veggies later in the evening before I go to bed - around 10. |

The second Miss Piggy hears me getting out of bed in the morning she starts to wheek REALLY loud (she really does have a good set of lungs)... so usually I go to the kitchen and get a decent sized handful of lettuce for her breakfast and then usually around supper time... another handful of veggies... |

Mine get them in three sittings over the day - first thing in the morning, late afternoon and just before I go to bed. They seem to like having them spread out, and I feel like it fits in more with their natural grazing method of eating (rather than having one big influx of veggies a day). |

Timmy lives right next to the fridge, and is very cute when he begs. So instead of a meal, he gets tiny veggie treats from the whole family all day long. |

I feed them a bit of veggies in the morning (just enough the stop the weeking) and they get a full meal around 2 and another before I go to bed which is usually around 11. I also give them there carrots at 11 every night so they have something to chew on all night. |

Since they are in the bedroom with me and my husband, and my husband is sleeping in the morning when I get up to go to work, I dont think he would appreciate my piggies WHEEKING at 6:am for their veggies. As far as he is concerned, its bad enough I have these piggies, i couldnt imagine what would happen with WHEEKS every morning. So thats why I only give them veggies when I get home from work. On the weekend they get twice. |

Same Treen. I don't like the thought of giving all their vegetables in one go, so I give them some at 7.00am, before school. Then a little snack when I come home (a few slices of cucumber or something like that). Then at 9.00 p.m I give them a cup of veggies. On weekend the main feeding times are at the same time, but I tend to give more snacks |

They get their veggies before I go to bed usually around 10. Normally I give them a handful of grass or dandelion greens in the afternoon. I don't see how someone could like food so much. But it is definitely the highlight of their day! |

I sometimes feed in the morning, but I have to be ready by 6.40 so it dosen't usually happen. Then when I get home at 3.00 they get their veggies, and then again somewhere are 9-10 o'clock at night. They just got two big peppers, red and green, so they should be content for now! So far, today, it's 7.37, they've had peppers and romaine, and then they get celery/cilantro/parsley/ect(wow a little bit off subject. Sorry!)... The times usually vary, it depends if I'm just being lazy, hehe. |

I feed Rocky around dinner time. But only because he hears the refrigorator open and close over and over again and thinks he's getting veggies (Its really cute, we can hear him squeak all the way across the house some times |
