We're in the process of buying a new house and are planning on repainting but I'm worried about the fumes and our piggys. With our schedules we'll only be able to do one room at a time so I was planning on painting the room the pigs will eventually be liveing in first and keeping them in a room on the other side of house till its safe. Since there noses are so much more sensitive then ours I'm afraid to just wait till I can't smell it anymore cause it might still be to strong for them. Any idea how long it needs to air out for them, its warm enough here now to keep the windows open 24/7 to help clear the air faster. |

I think you can use non-toxic paint or the Zero VOC paint. Non-Toxic Paint, Nontoxic Paint I'm not sure. Let's wait for others to reply. |

I would let the room air out for at least a few days (a week would be best if you can wait that long). New paint can smell pretty bad, even after it is dry, for a few days. |
