There is no right weight for a guinea pig. If you can feel alot of bones in a piggies body, they are obviously under weight. Get a kitchen scale and weigh daily. A one once flucuation (sp?) is al right. |

Each pig is different. I weigh my pigs every wednesday and write down their weights in a journal, that way I can track who is gaining/losing weight. The weight of my pigs varies from pig to pig, from 2 pounds to almost 3 pounds. Some pigs are just naturally smaller, and some are naturally larger, it depends on the pig. |
