Both of my two babies Miss Gingerbread & Miss Vanillabean like to crawl up onto either my shoulder or neck anfd bury themselves in my hair. Are they scared or just wan to give love? Any clues? Please. |

My youngest likes to do that, and she is kinda still jumpy and scary-like. I think she does it to hide. |

My guys hide in my hair when my son comes running up to pet them, but they will come up to the front of my neck to give me loves when it's quiet. |

Mine really love to cuddle into the crook of my neck up by my shoulder. They snuggle there and make content little noices. I think it depends more on how they act while they're hidden. I think mine like it there because its warm. If they aren't acting scared I would think that they justw ant to cuddle. |

My pigs aren't really neck perchers, but my friends guinea pig always starts off in my lap and will crawl up on my shoulder/neck and perch there for hours. I think it's affection. |

I have a neck cuddler. She's a noisy pig, but they're happy noises when she's up there. If I put her down on my lap she will run right back up to the crook of my neck. On the front kind of perched on my, um, chest with her head resting in my collarbone area, not in my hair. One of my others likes to cuddle on my shoulder, too, but she doesn't run up there on her own. She nuzzles when I put here there and she seems to like being there best, though |

One of mine loves to perch on my hubby's neck. He'll sit there and make cute noises for a while and then settle down and sleep. I've seen him up there with his eyes closed, laying on his side with his head pillowed on hubby's shirt collar. Its so cute. |

I forgot to mention, the same pig who likes to perch on my shoulder...likes to nibble my ear while he's up there, L0L! Definitely affection. |
