I hope that the guinea lynx forum approves you to put patches in with dad. Have you been able to visit there and post your situation yet?
The reason I hope patches can go in with dad is because dad might be able to be a food example.
My babies figured out the water bottle and pellets by adult example the first day and a half. That's why I would hope that they approve of putting patches in with dad because then with the addition of normal food, and your critical care or mash, it might help.

Unfortunately by the time I got Patches to the Vet, the only thing he could do was euthanize him. He said from how I described their behavior from birth that they might not have been born healthy. I don't think that is the proper wording for what he said, but I hope you all understand what I mean.

Oh well. I will take this as a life experience and hopefully use this for good. I'm going to go snuggle with Emmett and then in time find him a buddy since he is all alone.

Oh I'm so sorry the babies didn't make it Unfortunately by the time they get that sick, it's very difficult to bring them back.

I hope you will read through these forums and learn more about piggies and adopt a buddy for Emmett.
