Exclamation Help! Brick Problem!

I have started putting a brick under my water bottle to help absorb drips. While cleaning the cage today, I noticed that the newspaper under the brick was soaked! What is that and how do I stop it? *Thanks!*

I wouldn't worry about that, unless it runs down to your floor. I put newspaper, bedding & hay under my 12"x12" patio bricks and still get water on my paper. Thats what the paper is for, to help asorb water. I also have a Coroplast top on my grid floor, bottom and it's sealed to keep water from the floor. At least you know the water bottle is working properly. It could also be urine spreading under the brick. Good luck.
