I just love my pigs!

I just got done feeding my pigs their dinner, and it sounds so silly, but I knew piggie-lovers would understand. My heart just fills that it feels like it's going to burst I love them so much. They're so cute and spoiled and I know they're happy here. The feeling I get when I see them laying with their legs kicked out, out in the open and sleeping with their eyes closed, cannot be described. Even their bickering with each other is adorable.

Anyway, I just love my pigs, am blessed to have them, and knew you all would understand.

One of my favorite moments is feeding time. I makel little clink noises on the plate and they know its time to eat and will start wheeking. Sooo adorable So yeah, I know how you feel.

I adore my pigs as well. Most non-piggy people find it wierd how obsessive I am over them, and it makes me so happy to see them comfortable and happy. I love to see them comfy and stretched out on their fleece or a cozy they love, and running laps and popcorning are so enjoyable to watch them.

I enjoy their lap running much more now that I've switched to fleece. Before when they jumped around or ran laps they would manage to kick bedding out of the cage. With the fleece its so much less cleaning (makes the vaccum happy).

And I'm lucky, my roommates likes piggies nearly as much as I do, and my mom loves them though she complains (jokingly) that they eat better than anyone else in the family

Around my circles I am known as the "Crazy Guinea Pig Lady". I called a friend of mine the other day to ask if she'd sew some fleece blankets for me, and as soon as I said they were for my GPs, she couldn't stop laughing. I don't mind in the least, because I adore them and they are totally worth the strange looks I occasionally get.

Nothing beats seeing our piggie children happy, and hearing their wheeks as soon as they hear us enter the room. And for us who have adopted/rescued our pigs, knowing that we have given them a second chance. To hear them "purr" as we pet them, to watch them running around in their huge C&C cages, lying spread out, feet splayed out behind them, to see them just enjoying life... It makes all the time and money spent on them, all the the accidents during lap time, all the yucky poos, one hundred percent worth it.

I totally understand!!...I love all my piggies, too! I am sure most people do not understand. I work in a grocery store and the guys in the produce department actually special order veggies for me and then keep them in the back so that I always have fresh produce for the piggies. In fact, I brought the veggie chart in with me and requested that they order a couple of things they don't normally carry. My piggies are very loved and very spoiled!

I love feeding time as well. They all come running up to me like kids on Christmas morning to see what they got. When I told some of my co-workers I had recently adopted my 8th piggy, everyone just laughed that I'd added another to the herd. I am the "crazy piggy lady" at my work.

"Prayer Warrior" I totally feel the same way about our sweet little "Smores"...We are fairly new GP owners about 2 mths...and i have to say
i never thought how much i would fall in love with him.... He is just the sweetest little guy...He has stollen my heart.... We enjoy him so much....

I know, so much, what you mean PrayerWarrior!

I actually look forward to morning and evening spot cleaning of the cages because the babies and I have so much fun together during that time. It's not even work because of all the playing we do! Not to mention all the times during the day (in between cleanings) that they make my heart melt into a puddle of mush just by being the little balls of fur, blubber, and big eyes that they are!

Plus, I know (without so much as a doubt) that if I'm having a bad day, or not feeling well, as soon as I start cleaning the babies...they'll make me laugh. It never, ever fails!
