How fast will they grow?

Two of my piggers are really just babies. I can hold each of them in the palm of my hand if they're sitting still. The other two are about ten months old, and are BIG! I'm sure they must be fully grown.

My question is, how fast does the transition from one size to the other happen? Hee hee. How long will it be before I have FOUR big cuddly babies?

Re: How fast will they grow?

There really is no specific answer to your question. All pigs grow at different rates. They should be fully grown by the time they are around 9 months or so but they may still continue to gain weight after that age.

Re: How fast will they grow?

I adopted my baby Thumper in April of this year, and he has just grown so fast. He was right at 5 weeks old when he came to us. Now, when I look at his backside, it is as broad as one of my 3 year old males, and he's just a little over 3 months old. I blinked and he has really filled out. Be sure and take lots of pigtures of them growing, they're like kids, it happens too quickly.

Re: How fast will they grow?

Buttercup, Toffee, and Rosie (though Rosie has gained a good 50g further after this date) stopped gaining weight around April this year. They were 11 months, 9 months, and 7 months of age respectively at that point. Lily continues to slowly climb. Ella is 14 weeks old and is still gaining weight. All girls maintain weight, some gain.
