I finally got new girls! ... and an update on the boys (pics!)

First of all, an update on my boys.

They're still happily living in a big ol' two level cage with a divider down the middle separating Wiggley from Narco and York. It took time, but I got used to it. They're happier this way... by "this way," I mean not trying to kill one another.

Aaaand, I got my girls finally! I adopted them from a member of this forum (zephyr350, who is awesome, by the way).

This is the momma, Rainbow:



And her baby, Chelsea:

The girls are great--real sweethearts (until you try to trim their nails... hahaha!)

Wow! You got that set up quick! They look very happy as I knew they would. Thank you so much for helping me out. I got home and cried when I didn't see their cage but I know it's for the best.

I told you about the nails! They hate it!

Yeah, I hated for them to have to spend such a long ride in that pet carrier so I threw the cage together and had them in it within about 20 minutes of getting home.

Rainbow's nails needed a trim the worst, and she was *fairly* cooperative (more so with the front ones than the back). Chelsea's nails weren't too bad at all, but I figured I might as well go ahead and trim them up while I was at it... she wasn't so easy to deal with, though! She squirmed and tried to bite me and had a fit... it was so funny, because I put a towel over the hand I was holding her with to keep her from nibbling on my fingers, but she was determined. So I maneuvered one of the cuddle cups around her to better protect my fingers, and she was knawing the heck out of it. She was trying to rip it to shreds the way my dog chews up stuffed animals (and paper plates, and shoes, and books, and pretty much anything else she can get to... hahahha). But I was more determined than her, and the nails got trimmed.

They've pretty much been hiding out in one of the hidey houses together since I got them home; they're still nervous from all the commotion of moving. I gave them veggies but they were too skiddish to eat at first, so I turned the lights off and sat real still... and out they came to devour it all: lettuce, green/yellow peppers, kale, baby carrots, grapes, and parsley. They've retreated back to the hidey for now, but every once in awhile Rainbow will venture out to look around... and of course, after a second, Chelsea tags along.

I love them already!

I think it's wonderful that they were able to stay in the "family". And they are all just gorgeous. Excuse me, the girls are just gorgeous, the boys are so handsome,.

Congrats on all your piggies. They look absolutely adorable. Wiggley looks alot like my Piggles in the face. They all look very happy.
