yesterday afternoon My mom and i left the house at 2pm. We drove 2 hours to gainesville and since The lady with the piggies wouldnt be home till 6, Stoped for dinner. Then after sitting in the little cafe till closing (at 6) We got Horribly lost and only managed to find the Rescue ladys house at 7ish xD; !!! As soon as i walked in there was Dali and Gunther and OMG IT WAS LOVE T__T The woman actually seemed really surprised that i wanted both of them. (Neither of them have a sparkly medical history and Dalis already 5) But she also seemed really happy but sad to see them go xD <3. They are both adjusting well to thier new home and are CRAZY for celery xD. Neither of them wants to eat the Oxbow Vit-C tablets tho. Ill try a few more times and then maybe mix it up with some tomatoes or fruit. Ahhh ^^ I just love them... *has a funny "at peace" feeling*

Re: Dali And Gunther. Home at last! Congratulations!! I love the name Gunther! My first piggie was called that. He was quite a memorable character. It sounds like they've found a good home

Re: Dali And Gunther. Home at last! Heh, congrats! Post pictures soon(even though I'm procrastinating and have yet to take pigtures). Also, I hate to sound like a snob, but you know to cut celery small right? So the strings don't get trapped in their intestines. Just tipping you off! Lol, but congrats!

Re: Dali And Gunther. Home at last! Oh, I have to syringe feed my pigs their vitamin C when they get sick. When they aren't sick, I just give them loads of veggies.

Re: Dali And Gunther. Home at last! If the hair on Dali's butt is thin you might want to think about treating them for mites. Congrats on your new arrivals.

Re: Dali And Gunther. Home at last! It never hurts to treat for mites, but I strongly doubt that Dali would have mites coming from GGPR. I know Susan personally and have visited the rescue. I've adopted two piggies (Calie and Amee) from her and arranged a third adoption (Zsa Zsa) for my MIL. All three pigs are in top health. Congrats on your new piggies, Setsuna!
