| Vinegar on bedding? I was surverying my cavies the other day and I saw some fruit flies on the top layer of the cage, so I sprayed some of the floor of the top layer with a water-vinegar solution to see if it would keep them away. It managed to do that for awhile, but then my guinea pig got up there and started licking the floor. Could this be really bad for them? I made sure to wipe up the solution soon after, and I made sure my GP drank some water afterwards. |

| Re: Vinegar on bedding? this should be okay since thats why we all use vinegar and water. just dont let them drink a ton of it and they should be fine. most piggies dont like the smell, so thats unusual that your piggies actually licked it. |
