| Chewing and teeth My guinea pig is young and is not chewing on her chew toys and she never has. She is also chewing on her nails alot. her nails dont look long long enough to be cut yet. Is this something i should be worried about? |

| Re: Chewing and teeth No sorry, carrots aren't good for wearing down teeth. Nails should be trimmed every 3-4 weeks. |

| Re: Chewing and teeth If you're worried about her teeth. Hay cubes will wear down the front teeth, and loose hay (especially an occasional handful of oat hay) will wear down the back teeth. |

I've also made friends with someone who supplies them at a cheap price online, PM me for info. |
