Are the girls fighting or is Pixie just a talker

My new guinea pig were relaxed this morning but I noticed that they are fighting a little, but because I am new to this i might be mistaking something normal for something bad. I made my guinea pigs a cardboard home with two openings and Bettie (mom) likes to get in the box but Pixie doesn't. Sometimes when Pixie goes in the box Bettie will scare her or push her away and Pixie will make a loud SQUEAK that will make her jump and run around the gage. Now when i was adopting the guinea pigs the lady said that pixie is a talker (not sure what that means) but she will squeak a lot and stuff. I kinda feel like it's a different squeak though because her usually ones are low and she can do it sitting but the ones that involve Bettie are loud and scares her. I made a bigger cage but i'm thinking of getting pigloos so everyone has their own home. Is this a good idea, any advice would be appreciated.

Steph - sounds to me like pretty normal pig behavior. They get into several squabbles in a day. It's possible you could go get four pigloos and you'd still see them fighting over that "special" one from time to time.

You description doesn't make it sound like anything serious. Are they drawing blood or just "talking" to each other? If no blood, let them be. The louder more surprised squeal you are hearing is a warning to the other pig to back off or because she's startled or frightened by something. Come to my house and you'll hear it about 600 times a day!

LOL, I think i can hear them now! OK thank you very much for the advice, I'll have to start getting use to those things.
