Nail Clipping

Ok so the other day I took both my piggies to the vet to get their nails clipped because I dont like doing it myself. Marty being laid back just let me hold him and the vet clipped them and he was fine, but when it came to russels turn he shrieked and shrieked and squeeled the whole time. She didnt clip his quick or anything. He was fine last time he went. I gave him a big hug afterwards. Now he seems kind of moody towards me as if to say why did you do that to me. Do you think he wont trust me as much now ?

I think he will get over it. I get piggy pouts sometimes for things but the pigs are usually pretty easily persuaded with a special veggie treat.

Give him a day or two and I bet he'll cut down the hurtful glares.

Yeah, give him a few days and he'll be fine. The longing for veggies and treats will overcome the moodiness, you wait.

Mine hate me when I clip their nails, but within hours they've forgotten.

Thanks he's got over ot a wee bit now just like you said. Its amazing how much some veggies can do. Im sure he will come right out his mood soon.

My wife clips his nails while I feed him lettuce. I think it's the equivalent of getting laughing gas for us at the dentist.

It's funny because when the phone rings, he makes his "I'm not happy" rumble and will do it for like 10-20 minutes afterward. We say that he holds a grudge.
