Bath Time Question I did a forum search for an answer to this question but didn't find anything specific, so please forgive me if this has been asked and answered already, I just couldn't find it. I am going to wash my pigs this weekend for the first time (and hopefully the last for a very long time) but I am wondering if I need to dry them completely (like with a hair dryer) before I put them back into their cages or if I can let them dry on their own? My plan is to wash them, change their cage as usual, then put them back into a clean cage. But my question is whether or not towel drying is enough and let them "air dry" or if I need to use the hair dryer on them before they go back in their cages. I use fleece for bedding with a small area of Carefresh for their kitchen area, if that makes any difference - and I plan to use Bunny Bath to shampoo them.

Re: Bath Time Question You need to use a hair dryer on them, but keep your hand on them while you are doing it to make sure it isn't to hot, they will run, but you just need to chase them until they are dry. Read this: Guinea Lynx :: Grooming

Re: Bath Time Question They need to be at least 80-90% dry before putting them back in the cage. So if you want to try it, use the hair dryer on low and hold it about 12" away.

Re: Bath Time Question I would just like to say that: 1. I would like to see someone wash 12 piggies at once. 2. I'd like to see your husband's reaction to you washing 12 pigs. Good luck!
