| Rotating fan. I don't have my pigs yet, but they will be kept in my room. I have to have my fan on at night (just a small one on my dresser blowing in one direction [towards my bed]), and I know that drafts and cool air lead to colds. If I direct my fan more towards the wall instead of closer to the pigs and put a blanket over the cage, should it be a problem? |

| Re: Rotating fan. Fans and air conditioning won't hurt pigs as long as it's not directly blowing on them and it's not too cold for them. If they are kept in a temperature range of 65F-75F they shouldn't get sick from a fan. I've always ran fans and AC around my pigs and (knocks on wood) none of my pigs have ever had a URI. I moved your thread out of the med forum because it's not really a med issue. |
