End of my teather - constant cage biting

My boar Hoover is nearly 7 and lives alone (too old to be neautered) however his cage is right up against two lovely females and he chats to them occasionally.

Anyway in the morning they all know it's food time, and usually at 7.30am I wake up regardless of whether I have school or not and give them some lettuce. Hoover has always gone at his bars when it's food time, but lately he has been doing it before food time at 6am and just hammers away. They are in my bedroom and due to the fact I suffer with insomnia and sleep paralysis it really isn't helping. I am getting so stressed in the mornings with it, he won't stop if I clap or make any noise, he is so loud with it aswell. The girls definatly aren't the issue because they are still settled in their hidey houses about this time in the morning, I'm not sure if it's the lighter mornings or what...

I'm going try bitter apple spray but by the sounds of it this seldom works effectivly...my mum said that prehaps during nighttimes he should go into his petstore cage out in the landing or something, but that makes me feel realllly guilty and I would't want that.

I just don't know what to do to stop him doing it! He has a huge cage for one pig, toys, hay, food etc all a pig could want. Prehaps I should stop feeding them in the mornings, but I dont see why the girls should have to suffer.

Sorry for the rant but it drives me nuts!

Could you make the chloroplast higher where he is chewing so he can't anymore? It might not work but it would be easy to try if you have any leftover.

I dont use corroplast, just have a tarpauling underneath as it would cost me too much for their cages to be done out with it =[

Maybe try using a piece of cardboard or something similar you could attach to the bars instead of coroplast.

Try putting cardboard up then to block him from the grids in that area. You can just cut apart a box.

Did the waking up earlier start happening when the time switched from GST to BST? If so, then he's waking up at the same time, as far as he knows...

Na it started a couple of weeks into it, he used to be quiet and fine even if I did over sleep till like 8.30 ish some mornings so I'm not sure why he has suddenly started it.
