Biting Pig!

Ironically, my sweetest and tamest piggie gave me a nasty bite last night. He despises being picked up and carried, but I had to take him back to his cage. On the way there he did a turn in my hands and I assume made himself uncomfortable, and in turn bit my finger and drew blood.

He's always been a finger nibbler, but he's never actually bitten me and I know it's rare for them to bite. When I was carrying him today he tried to give me a bite again, but I moved my finger away from his mouth.

Is there anyway I can make him feel more comfortable being carried? I know the towel trick, but he likes to wiggle around in towels and that makes me nervous.
