I finally got some pigs

On the spur of the moment I went to The MSPCA in Springfield and adopted two bonded guinea pigs. I held both of them and neither of them squirmed out of my hands or bit me. They are already doing great and are eating the veggies I made for them. They haven't discovered the second level I made for them yet. Boy are they going to be surprised. I'll get some pictures as soon as they settle in. Can I post them here or is their another forum to post guinea pig pictures? I haven't fully decided on names but am leaning towards Addison and Andie.

I'm soo happy for you. I am going up to pick up the two boys you see in my pic on saturday. I haven't had pigs for almost ten years now, I'm soo ready to get some pigs back in my life. I have been debating get some on and off for a long time and I think I'm ready to have some. I can't wait and I hope they will be as happy as your pigs are.

congratulations erikahand83. I used to have a cat named Midnight. It's a very fitting name.

VoodooJoint I think the biggest problem is that many people do not know that there are guinea pig rescue centers. I mean I didn't know until I started researching them and talking to you guys and to be honest how many other people would do that before going out and buying one? They rely on people at the pet stores to tell them what to do. Through having fish as well, I've learned that for the most part you can not rely on them.
