Re: Brushing Piggies

I've got a baby hairbrush (human baby). I don't brush them very often at all.

Re: Brushing Piggies

I never brush mine. Even my long haired one. Her hair just naturally goes where it is supposed to and it never tangles. She does shed a lot though. I did buy a small rabbit brush. They have super soft bristles. I just never use it.

I use a small rabbit brush also. Mine shed lots. I don't know if it's their breeds, or if all GP's shed this much, but I can't stand hair! You wouldn't know it looking at me because mine is down to my waist. Anyway, I usually brush them twice a week to keep the shedding down.

Re: Brushing Piggies

I don't know what kind of pig you have, but would an aby even stand for a brushing? My two abys hate full-body pettings. It rubs all that wild hair the wrong way. I'm allowed to stroke their muzzles and scratch behind their ears. They would put up such a fuss if I tried to take a brush to them.

Re: Brushing Piggies

I use a baby brush and it works pretty well. Just make sure it is clean though. It tands to not work very well if it is clogged up with hair. As with any brush. But for what type of pig is the brush for?
