Paulammoore's adoption update and pigture thread

Last week Paula mentioned she wanted to adopt 3 pigs near me. Since she was afraid they would be adopted and lives a bit of a drive from here, they are bunking with me until she can come get them.

There are three girls. I think 2 are a yearish old and the other is only 2 months or so. So far they are comfortable with me in the room, but hate being held. No visible issues (hairloss..etc.) yet. They are not in the same room as my piglets. The little one (who may be named Billy?) is the dominant one. I don't think she's stopped talking yet.

Without further ado... what you have all been waiting for: PIGTURES!
Temporary names for the next week:
Billie (the baby pig or aka little one)
Jerry (older pig with white)
Ben (older pig all black)
I dunno, the remind me of ice cream. I've always wanted to name pigs Ben & Jerry.

We went with plain lettuce tonight. I don't think they've seen it in awhile. I gave a piece to Ben and she was happy and Jerry immediate squeaked for some. The little one is running around not sure what this is, but since everyone else is eating it she's running, sniffing and nibbling. A day or two and I'm sure she'll be chowing down. The older one's sure remembered lettuce from somewhere.

Ooh they are so precious! I cannot wait till next Saturday! And I can't tell you how thankful I am that you were willing to do this for these piggers and me!

And you know ... the Ben & Jerry (ice cream) names are kind of similar to what they'd named them at the Humane Society. Though better, of course, by far.

Wow Paula, you sure are lucky that Hydrohoki picked those cuties up for you. I bet you can't wait to see them in person! I knew a Ben and Jerry on Myspace. They were the guys that got me so obsessed with guinea pigs in the first place. Really cute little guys - great names!

They are doing great!

A little freaked from four hours in the car, but overall they are little troopers!

Only once. Little One explained to me how tragic she thought it was that I wanted to trim her nails today, but after some serious soul searching on her part, she agreed to let me do it.

I bet your place is quiet! Have Duncan & Starbuck forgiven you for the house guest who cut their fingernails?
