Finally an update..

Hey guys. If you remember when Snuffles died and I decided it was only for the best to find Truffles a new home then good. I have an update that has a happy but saddening ending. Well first, I finally sold the Tommy A 120 that was my quarentine cage to a very nice women who is a vet tech. I dropped off the cage at her work. I thought I had a home for Truffles but one, the story sounded kinda unconsistant so I was very cautious on it, and when I did meet the women, Kim (To give her the cage) she mentioned how she saw the ad for Truffles and asked if he had a home yet, I said yeah.. Later I got an E-mail from her thanking me and I said your welcome and after thinking about it offered her the pig. She asked me a bunch of questions about his history and everything and I brought Truffles and all his supply's to her roughly a week after.. I was VERY sad but I know he went to a great home and I don't know how many she had but she had atleast one other pigger and I know she quarentined him. I'm sorry I waited so long to update you guys but as soon as I would get on, I would start to get worked up about it and didn't want to go through with typing it all out.. But I'd just like to thank you all for your support through everything.

Aww, well I'm sorry you had to give him away. At least now you know he has a good home and maybe you can still go visit him sometimes.

I guess... I truly do miss him though. Like, seriously I loved him but I never thought I could ever EVER miss anything that much.. I wish I could have him back so bad but I know it's for the best. I bawled about it for weeks.

Re: Finally an update..

Just thought I'd share the update I got from the women who adopted him:
"Hi Kayla!

How are you?

I'm glad you wrote to ask about Truffles. I didn't want to update you if you were still sad about letting him go. He is doing great. He is so cute and sweet!

I still don't have him permanently in the cage with Tribble (my other boy). I am still just letting them have more and more extended playtimes together until I feel comfortable that they are fully adjusted. I will send you a picture of the two of them. Tribble is long-haired and twice the size of Truffles so he just looks like a big mop next to the little guy.

I can bring him up to the animal hospital with me if you ever want to stop by and visit with him. Just let me know.

So good to hear from you "

So I am really happy he got a good home but it just makes me upset sometimes that I don't have him with me when I really do need him.

I am glad Truffles found a good home!
It must have been a very difficult decision for oyu to make.

Re: Finally an update..

Mhmm, and yeah. Very hard. Seriously though, it was harder than letting go of my 5 year old cockatiel who was my only pet at the time and was literally one of my best buds.
