I have a piggy that is black and white I have noticed that some of his fur is a little dirty. I have seen some pictures of people giving their piggies a bath and I was curious on what types of soaps and/or shampoos are safe enough to clean him up?

Re: Question about Bathing Do a forum search on bathing. This question has been asked hundreds of times.

Re: Question about Bathing We use a mild, non-medicated kitten shampoo. A lot of folks recommend Four Paws Bunny Bath (which we are going to get to try ourselves). Never use human shampoos or soaps, or any types of medicated shampoo (flea/tick). Also, no sprays of any kind. We hardly ever bath our pigs. Only if they would happen to be very dirty (a new rescue), or need a bath for a dirty bottom. Piggies normally keep themselves very clean and groomed.

Re: Question about Bathing You're welcome. A good place to start would be to read all of the stickies at the top of each forum. You'll probably have most (if not all) of your questions answered just by that method!
