Unique Piggy Color

What is the most unique coloring that is out there that you have seen?

That is so cool, I have seen a few pictures of piggers with those colors before and I always think it is so interesting looking.

I'm seeing a lilac guinea pig though the caption says "self black"?

Ya, I agree it's lilac. I like this color too.

Yep it's lilac. Member Piglet on here has a piggy who is tricolour, including lilac. I have a piggy who is a lilac/ginger argente. An argente is pink eyed and usually pale coloured, similar to an agouti.

My Cloudy is a frosted beige agouti. I've only seen one other like her. When I got her I picked her out because of her unusual coloring and pattern. It's like she tried to be a Dutch, but failed miserably. But in a cute way. Sorry the picture's blurry, but it's one of the best ones I have of her coloring. Even without a flash it's hard to get a picture of her where her beige fur doesn't look washed out.

Forget about the actual colors. Just the pattern is amazing. She's like a hockey rink with a center line straight down her middle.

Res Judicata, I have a guinea pig pretty similar to yours!
His fur at first glance looks very gray, but sometimes it has a very light brown hue to it.

Haley - your little pig is an grey/silver agouti as is yours Res!

Actually Hayley, I believe your pig would be classified as a Dilute solid with some white. The agouti color is the intermixing of any Self color with white. Most commonly Golden agouti, which I think, I'd have to look it up, is actually red?

A Dilute solid is defined as an even ticking color pattern, over the entire coat including the belly, while agouties have a belly band. This is a solid color all down the belly. It is rather hard to describe unless you have a perfectly marked solid in your hands.

They are pretty much agouties with out the belly band.

I saw those pictures also a little while back. I wish I could find one in those colours. I thought it was very unique
