Is Limstone on the grass bad??

I wanted to put my piggie outside to munch since it was such a gorgeous day out in such a long time, but my dad put limstone pellets in the grass to nuetralize the soils PH lvls. He says that my pig should be fine since it is a natural product, but I just wanted to check first. Is it ok?

I don't know anything about Limestone. But if it were my pig I would not put it out there.

It's a lot of calcium. (Limestone in general is CaCO3.)

Re: Is Limstone on the grass bad??

I wouldn't. I get very nervous about "natural" lawn treatments. You never know what's really in there. My husband treated the lawn weeks ago and I won't even think of putting Cookie on the grass. I know everything has soaked in, but I still won't put her out there.

You're better off growing her a small flat of grass for her to munch on. Better safe than sorry.
