Is it possible for a piggy to lose their two front teeth if fallen off a couple of inches?

Re: broken teeth!!!

Have a look at this page http://www.guinealynx.info/teeth.html#brokenteeth for more information on broken teeth - I'm not really sure what your question is (is it the teeth that have fallen off, or has the guinea pig fallen off something?), so I hope that helps.

Re: broken teeth!!!

Hey - I had the same problem last week. My pig, Son-of-Pig, broke off this two top incisors. We took him to the vet, who discovered that one of the top "stubs" of teeth was fractured, so he trimmed them a little. Son-of-Pig's gums were a little swollen, but other than that, he was okay. He's eating fine with the stubs he has on top, and my vet assured me that his incisors would grow in properly. But he cautioned me that if Son-of-Pig did not eat for 12 hours, then I would need to syringe feed him. I've found that I need to cut all his veggies up into smaller pieces to help him eat. My vet also told me that I could do a one-time application of baby Oragel if Son-of-Pig seemed to be having pain, so you could try that as well.
