Bathing

I need to wash my long haired boy, Pumpkin. The only thing I'm worried about is that him and his buddy, Twoonie, can get a little, studly, sometimes.
Should I be worried that if I bathe Pumpkin, then put him back in the cage that they will fight, as Pumpkin will smell different? Should I wash both of them?

Re: Bathing

I'm not sure if I can answer your question but someone once told me that when you get 2 boars that don't get along, a buddy bath usually helps, so I suggest you put both piggies in the bath together, therefore there is no different smells.

Re: Bathing

Sorry becuase this is kind of off topic. But my two girls seem to get along fine most of the time, but I was wondering if bathing them might make them feel more comfortable with me? Or do I just need to be patient and let them learn to trust me?

Re: Bathing

I find bathing makes them nervous, I have to talk them through it. I only bathe if they need it. (Like the long haired pigs tend to need them more often. My long haired boy gets 1 or 2 a year)

Anyone else, I won't do it till I'm sure of my course of action.
